New Athletics Club!

I thought you might be interested in the message below from Harko Brown about the new athletics club that has been set up. Sounds like a great opportunity. His message is:

Kia ora!

We have started up a new athletics club at Bledisloe Domain. Registration is on Saturday Oct 10, 10am – 1pm. Club nights are Tuesdays 4-6pm in October, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm from November. The athletics season goes through until the end of March.
For schools wanting to stage school athletics sports days you are most welcome to use our 5 lane 400m running track & 8 lane sprint track which features a 140m Te Rere Hokowhitu marked distance, and what equipment we have free of charge.
The club comes under the auspices of our newly formed KaiMatariki Trust which is charged with getting people socially and physically active and involved with contemporary and traditional Maori sports.
ngaa mihi
Harko Brown (Club President)

About Simon McGowan

Hello everyone. I am the new Principal at Opua School and am delighted to be so. I arrived in New Zealand in 1999, after teaching in the UK for 13 years, and very soon became the Deputy Principal at Bay of Islands College. I finished there at the end of 2012 after being appointed as the Principal of the best little school in the universe. I feel so privileged and very excited.
